condenser height

Is there any virtue or vice in having the Seafrost compressor/condenser higher or lower than the evaporator?  i'm specifically thinking of converting my icebox into a refrigerator with the Seafrost BD series.

Because SeaFrost BD series is a combination compressor/condenser together and not a keel cooler I do not think a reasonable elevation change either way should make a difference. Reasonable to me is 4 to 5 ft elevation difference between condensing unit and evaporator. If this system is a 134a system and operated at low freezer temperatures where return refrigerant flow to compressor is low you should check with Clive at SeaFrost on actual elevations.
