The simple prototype circuit shown below can be used to change speeds on either the BD35F or BD50F. With no resister in the thermostat wire the compressor will run at 2000 rpm., adding a 277 ohm produces 2500 rpm, 692 ohm 3000 rpm, and 1523 ohm 3500 rpm. Most manufactures using the new BD Danfoss compressors are offering some speed shift options for their units or they believe they have the correct speed preset.
